We are searching for any students who live within the school boundaries and will be attending kindergarten at our school next year. If you are the parent of or know a child who will turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2015, please click here for an information form that can be completed and turned in to the office. If an older child attends Lake View, he or she can return this form to the office before January 30 and get a prize.

Lake
View Elementary will be administering the SAGE writing test to all students in
3rd – 5th grade. Testing will be held from February
10-February 20. The SAGE writing assessment is a new and challenging
writing assessment that every student in Utah in grades 3-12 will be
completing. The test is taken on the computer and is based on curriculum
that is taught that year in school. Obviously, more is expected of a
fifth grader than would be of a third grader. Students will be asked to
complete two separate writing tasks. One will be persuasive in nature and
the other informational. Our students and teachers have been working hard
to prepare for this test. We appreciate their efforts!

Parents,
Our
annual writing assessment for all students in grades 3-5 will be conducted
between February 10th and February 20th. Please make sure your student gets plenty of sleep and eat breakfast so that they can do their very best
work. They have been working hard at improving their writing skills and we are
very proud of them.
