Call to parents: 

Our PTA Reflections Program has begun! Help your child unleash their artistic talent! They could choreograph a dance, produce a film, write a poem or a story, compose a song, take a picture or create a piece of visual art and show us their interpretation of the theme “ The world would be a better place if.....”  Entry forms and rules can be found on the PTA website located at www.utahpta.org/reflections  or if you need a paper copy, they will be in the office.  Entries are due by Friday October 31^st. If you have any questions, you can call Kandi Bernsdorff at 435-740-4604 

We will also be hosting an Art Night to showcase all entries and winners on Monday, November 10 from 6:30-7:30, a great Family Night activity. We will also be having live performances during the show.

The world would be a better place if.....it got to know your inner artist!

REFLECT on the theme. CREATE ART. BE RECOGNIZED.

Choreograph a dance, produce a film, write a poem or a story, compose a song, take a picture or create a piece of visual art and show us your interpretation of the theme "The World Would Be A Better Place If..."

Kindergarten through 5^th grade students are encouraged to submit ORIGINAL art work in one or more of the following categories:

*Dance Choreography   *Photography  *Visual Arts  *Literature  *Film Production  *Musical Composition

Students with disabilities may receive special accomodations by entering the Special Arts Division

Entries will be judged and recognized at the school level and have the potential to move on to the District &  PTA National Level.

Hard copies of the forms and rules can also be picked up in the office. ALL Entries are due by Friday, October 31st, and can be dropped into the Reflection Box located in the office.

Students must submit their online entries no later than Halloween, Friday October 31.  You can find entry forms here http://www.utahpta.org/reflections or if you need a hard copy, they will be in the office.

We will be judging them by November 5, 2014 and will be holding an Art Night to showcase all the entries for Reflections and to honor the winners of each category. The recognition night will be held on Monday, November 10^th from 6:30-7:30....it would be a great family night activity. We will be having some live performers as well that night. Hope to see everyone there!

National PTA Reflections Theme Search Contest for 2016-2017

Each year,the National PTA”s Reflection Program adopts a new theme that students use when creating their artwork. Theme ideas are submitted by students from across the country and one is selected as the next year's theme. The student who submits the winning entry receives a cash prize and his/her theme is used as the foundation for Reflections in a following year.
